Summary: Harry and Ginny were comfortable in their largely platonic marriage; they both had discreet lovers, while their children had stability, and the public had the fairy-tale marriage they wanted. But Draco and Luna won’t be content to stay on the sidelines forever, and Harry and Ginny haven’t been as discreet as they thought they were. The time for a choosing is coming faster and faster.

Summary: After Scorpius is injured while apprenticing to Harry in his Countercurses business, Draco visits to determine how Scorpius is recovering—and whether he’ll be staying. It also means the rekindling of a friendship that he had with Harry twenty-six years ago, which may become something more.
Author’s Notes: This is another one of my Wednesday one-shots, inspired by a request from sandersyager: Scorpius apprenticing to Harry after Hogwarts as a spell inventor or other type of magical researcher. Draco turns up when Scorpius is injured in the course of his training. He and Harry haven't had much contact since 8th year at Hogwarts, but had the beginnings of a decent friendship that year and until Draco married Astoria and Harry went off to travel and train for his career outside of England. While Scorpius recovers (whether it's a day or weeks), Harry and Draco reconnect and realize they not only want a friendship but possibly a romance. This will likely have five parts, and each part will be told partially from Draco or Harry’s perspective (in past tense) and Scorpius’s (flashbacks, but in present tense). The title comes from Enya’s song of the same name.

Summary: Scorpius considers Mr. Potter’s Black house a secret place where he can go and play whenever his father isn’t there—which is all the time. He never considered that his father might someday find out.
Author’s Notes: An Advent fic written for an anonymous request: Recently divorced Draco Malfoy is a busy man and, without many friends his own age and aloof adult figures (and house elves) around him, Scorpius is running wild around the manor...and is more than just a little lonely. When he happens to find an abandoned fireplace in a deserted part of the manor, he doesn't think twice about throwing in floo powder and seeing who'll answer on the other end.

Well, that is, until he accidentally falls in and finds himself in Grimmauld Place, home of reclusive magical theorist and famous hero Harry Potter. Harry doesn't know what do with this mini-Malfoy, but soon comes to enjoy his company. And Scorpius enjoys learning new magic and things like science, cooking, gardening, listening to stories, and having fun with someone who isn't so straitlaced. And his father doesn't need to know about this special friend and his special place. He's never there, after all...

Draco, after coming home to a empty home with no one knowing where his son is, of course thinks otherwise.

I followed most parts of the prompt, but it was so detailed I had to leave some of them out. Happy Advent! The second part of this will be posted tomorrow.

Summary: Clarifier Draco Malfoy has seen a lot of traumatic memories. He’s not proud that seeing Harry Potter’s sets off a reaction in him that he thought dimmed long since.
Author’s Notes: Another of my Advent fics, this time for your_huckleberry. She gave me this prompt: Draco has the ability to retrieve and strengthen lost/happy memories and to 'dim' unhappy/traumatizing memories (a skill needed in the wizarding world after the trauma of war). Harry goes to him to have his memories of his parents brought forward and his memories of the Dursleys 'dimmed'. Harry and Ginny have divorced. A suggested reason for the divorce is Harry can't tell the difference between cruelty and discipline and thinks Ginny is too strict/unkind. Harry also doesn't know when he's overindulging the kids. Harry is convinced he is a bad father because of the children's reaction to the divorce and this is what motivates him to go to Draco. I’ve followed the prompt pretty closely, although the children don’t appear as characters.
