Title: An Ivory Discretion

Summary: In a world where Voldemort rules, he runs into the seemingly guileless Harry Potter at a party, and likes what he sees enough to invite Harry to his bed. Harry is enthusiastic about the sex but assumes there is no emotional connection, and tries to maintain his emotional distance from the Dark Lord. This is easier said than done; they keep running into each other, and Voldemort finds himself being seduced as much by Harry’s soul as his body.

Summary: AU starting with the Third Task. Harry’s blood fails to resurrect Voldemort, because he is not Harry Potter, but a Muggleborn son of two Squib Order members who died in the first war. Dazed, no longer knowing who he is, Harry tries to navigate a new world, including Marcus Flint unexpectedly taking an interest in him.
Author’s Notes: This is one of my “From Litha to Lammas” chaptered fics being posted between the summer solstice and the first of August. This will probably have five to six chapters, and is a fairly dark fic. It’s is for Isafold88’s prompt for Harry discovering that he’s a random Muggleborn and a romance with Marcus Flint. The title comes from the Tennyson poem quoted below.

Author’s Notes: This is one of my “Songs of Summer” fics being posted between Halloween and the winter solstice. Moon246 requested a Harry/Tom story with a similar atmosphere to my Harry/Draco story “Promises Made on Wands.” Therefore, this is fairly surreal and has a fairly open ending in which not everything is explained. As if that’s not enough, he also has the Thestral Publicity Program.

Summary: AU. Neville Longbottom, the Boy-Who-Lived, won the war against Voldemort, and Harry Potter played his small part in that victory. Now, less than five years later, a group of disaffected former Death Eaters is causing trouble, and asking for Harry as a hostage in return for a period of peace. Harry, believing it’s better he be taken prisoner than Neville, accepts, thinking this will give Neville time to gather his forces and put down the Death Eaters. He doesn’t much think about his own fate, other than to assume it will be gruesome. He’s wrong.

For that, he’s willing to put up with his stepfather’s ridiculous demand that he become good enough at Potions to take the NEWT as an adult. For that, he’s willing to deal with the tutor Snape’s arranged for him, the mysterious Tom Gaunt.
Author’s Notes: This is a new WiP. Please pay attention to the warnings; the depths of this family dysfunction cannot really be overstated. At the moment, I think this will be between ten and twenty chapters.

Oh, and the Ministry wants him to grant permission as Lord Slytherin to hold a death tournament at Hogwarts. Harry doesn’t see why he should do that.
