Progress report

Apr. 17- Due date for the hds_beltane fest. I've had an idea for the fic I'll be writing for almost a month, but I didn't like the ending. Now I've adjusted the ending, and so the only problem is that it's likely to be a monster.

May 15- Due date for the hd_parallel fest. Two ideas, but I don't yet know how to connect them. At least this fic is likely to be shorter.





"The Mark of the Fox" is finished! songquake and myfluffcanfly, I'll be in contact with you about your generous beta offers soon.

"Ron Weasley and the Entropy of the Situation" will probably be the next one-shot posted.

I believe Practicing Liars has eleven or twelve chapters left, but we'll have to see.

Ceremonies of Strife so far has a lot more action than its predecessor did, which pleases me.

"Starfire Nights": This is the fic that duchessa won by bidding on my fic at the help_haiti auction and making a donation. She's asked for an AU of Changing of the Guard, where Harry still runs Metamorphosis but Draco and Harry meet under different circumstances. This is 6000 words so far, and will probably be posted in a few weeks. Looking to be between 30,000 and 40,000 words right now.

"Penance is the Play": This is a one-shot I've talked about before, where Harry is asked to take on Draco as an Auror partner because all his other former partners found him too annoying to be going on with. Draco proceeds to behave beautifully when he's with Harry, which makes Harry wonder what the fuck is going on. Currently 8000 words, but on hold until "Starfire Nights" is done.



And that's it for right now, other than a note that it looks like I'll be writing "A Black Stone in a Glass Box" after Practicing Liars is finished.

You really are an amazing writer, and I always look forward to new stories posted by you. I try to keep up with your stories, but unfortunately, you write more than I have time to read, thus resulting in my faling behind on both Practicing Liars and Ceremonies of Strife.

I do intend to read both stories, though, as they are most assuredly wonderful stories.

Thank you for all your hard work. I can barely imagine the amount of time, you spend on writing all of this. It is stunning to say the least.

I'm trying to remember if at some point previous you estimated the end of Practicing Liars. In any case, there's still 11 or 12 chapters left?! Holy moly there's a lot to do, that I didn't even know existed.

Thanks, duchessa. Now I have to read Changing of the Guard again. Not that that's a real struggle or trial :D

Can't wait for the next update. I like seeing your fest fics, though of course they get exposed as yours significantly after the fact.

Yeah!!! I'm sooo looking forward to "Starfire Nights", "Penance is the Play" and "A Black Stone in a Glass Box" (and of course to the further unraveling of secrets and more hair stroking and snogging and fatherly Severus in "Practicing Liars" ;). I would like Politesse and Flash to return at some point in "Ceremonies", too, please ;D

Black Stone in a Glass Heart sounds awesome sauce. I love stories that draw on mythology (especially obscure mythology) and then goes deeper into the characterizations present rather than just brushing it off and saying "The. End." So I'm looking forward to it.

Starfire Nights is AWESOME. I REALLY want to read that. I loved Changing of the Guard, primarily the changing faces aspect, and can't wait to see what comes of the AU. XD

Like gomenace, I have fallen behind on both Liars and Ceremonies (heck, I'm behind on Soldier's Welcome! T_T), but when the time comes, I will have lots and lots of goodness to read up on, so I'm not too frantic about it. Right now all I can do is bask in the anticipation of Lomonaaeren awesomeness. :)

That really sounds amazing. I love it. I'm so glad that Practicing Liars has something like that to replace it. I'm definitely going to miss PL.
