I really enjoyed this -- you have a great way of writing about many things very clearly and then weaving through the whole very evocative descriptions and phrasings that don't dominate but instead support the narrative and characterizations.
The wings as semi-sentient, reacting as Harry did, or before he did, were very captivating. I like too that Harry is a normal aging man, not an Adonis or an eternal youth, but that the wings add a kind of otherworldliness and reveal more of his natural grace to make us see what's so special about him in part physically manifest.
I love your Ginny, her camaraderie and sensibility, and the way Ron and Harry work together in the scene with the dark wizards. Harry's children were wonderfully drawn, and I loved Al's still but emotional reaction to his brother as well as his wariness and coolness towards Severus.
Great story -- thank you! I'm sure I'll read this again.
