His personas are probably the most effective tools he has at the moment- but unfortunately, he's using them to keep Draco away from him as well.
Yes, that's true, but not completely unreasonable given his past. He's used his other personas to escape, but also to cope, and I like that you let us realize that he knows that he's doing it though; that he realizes that the 'real' Harry Potter needs to come out. I think he's a bit afraid of being that vulnerable, and it'll be most excellent when he finally surrenders to Draco.
It's a bit strange (but fun) debating back 'n forth with you about *your* characters! ;o)
