I think Harry will always view families in a skewed light, because he just doesn't understand how anyone else could willingly walk away from their parents. He'll give up trying to reconcile Draco and his parents now, but if Draco ever showed any willingness, then Harry would try again. He wants the man he loves to have the security of his family, too.
Given the wizarding world's prejudice against magic that's out of the wizarding norm, I think it makes sense that they'd accuse Harry of being a magical creature.
Millicent fits in sort of uneasily, but she does fit in.
Draco would have fainted if someone told him where he'd eventually confess his love.
