I LOVE this Harry Potter! I kept waiting throughout this chapter for something to go wrong, for some attack or show of violence, so I was on tenterhooks. Perhaps you're setting the scene for what's to come...
I think that Nusante is out of line. It shouldn't matter whether Harry'd been gay-and-in-hiding for 10 minutes or 10 years or 100 years - it's HIS business. Harry doesn't owe anybody anything anymore, and I feel that his confrontational attitude is only doing himself an injustice. I can see how he might feel that Harry et al are a bunch of usurpers who are trying to steal the limelight away from all the work he's done over the past decade, but if he truly had the interest of their 'cause' at heart, (and was more mature) he'd suck it up and do what has to be done with them in order to succeed. Maybe more dialogue is needed? but I do so enjoy the aggravation and tension.
I'm a little concerned that Ron and Hermione aren't communicating with Harry in any way and even though Ron is typically hot-headed, Hermione at least would usually find a way to reach out. Hmm.
Lucius - ah, poor man. I chuckle at the thought of his face. Good chapter, and of course, I loved star-struck!Draco when he saw Harry in his green robes. Also, the description of the place and the intricacies of the spells/charms/wards used really set the scene well and gave it such a strong sense of tangibility. *happy sigh*
