Nusante is still likable, I think. Harry's thought last chapter that he's dealing with jealousy of the immediate effect Draco's gesture had is also accurate. But he doesn't handle sudden changes well; unlike Harry, he likes having plans.
Harry had very good reason to hide. And he would like to tell them what he's been doing, sort of, but he'll choose keeping Metamorphosis any day over that.
Draco's conclusions are very much influenced by his feelings for Harry. But he's not the sort of person to be bothered by that; I don't think Draco has ever valued objectivity.
