The majority of editing texts state using the apostrophe and the extra s...it's also the way I was taught it in univesity and journalism school. Some texts say if you're uncomfortable about the rule, then you can leave out the extra s if you would do so in the spoken word. Like...Lucius's is actually said with the extra s, but if you're using Hogwarts in the possessive sense, it's not said with the extra s. Some texts say use the s all the time, regardless.
And I'm rambling. I can talk grammar all day...I've done so much research on this particular point that it's difficult for me to stop myself from talking about it!!!!!!!!
