Harry has hidden himself for so long that he might avoid revealing his face and name even when it would be a good idea for him to do so.
It's primarily Malfoy that Ron took the opportunity it to taunt. He's uneasy around most people who are homosexual, except Harry, but for it to be his enemy who's involved with a 'terrorist' group and gay? That was too wonderful for him to pass up.
