Writing a protagonist who doesn't know what's wrong with him (or her) is one of the greatest challenges a writer can handle, I think. It's so tempting to just go with what the narration is telling you, and sometimes I believe the exact same things the characters do even when I'm not in their heads. This time, though, I think I've got a handle on how to reveal Harry to himself as well as others, slowly.
