Are you kidding? I'd have really wanted to sit you down and discuss things with you! but I'd much rather you just keep... on... writingggg.. ! ;o)
I really really liked the first chapter where we're introduced to Metamorphosis and the amount of work and thought and planning that Harry had to do for each character. I think it's an excellent outlet for his frustration, his fear and maybe his anger too, because he can don the masks and 'become' somebody else - the ultimate actor - and in that way, he's able to push his unhappiness down.
The only problem with that, of course, is that he doesn't address the real issues so they just stay there, festering, until someone like Draco comes along and puts a crack straight through all those facades.
I also really liked Harry's panic when he thought that he might lose not only Brian's persona, but all the other ones as well. That fear was palpable, brought through in your writing and how much we're invested in Harry being able to pull things off. Perhaps for once we doubt whether our faith in him is justified, even though we really hope he succeeds.
