I wouldn't say Draco, at the moment, has consciously conceptualized the thought that there's so much flowing back and forth between Harry and Brian. He just thinks he doesn't know enough about Harry to make a real judgment call.
Harry just wishes Draco's anger were more tangible, enough to drive him to abandon "Brian."
