I wonder if Harry wouldn't argue against the perception that he's fucked-up even if someone presented it to him. He'd probably say that this is the best life he can hope for after the Dursleys and the war and the inevitable publicity that resulted from the war.
I did try to make clear in the chapter that Harry has known he likes having his head gripped when he goes down on someone for a while; what worried him was that he was acting that out rather than whatever Brian would have done in the same situation. He's sometimes associated with other men, usually Muggles, as almost himself, just hiding his scar.
