Gah, I’ve been too busy to review >< I just hope I have a little more time to properly read and enjoy next (last!) chapter because if this was good, I’m sure next time will be 100 times better: Harry vs. Daphne! Can’t contain my excitement :D
I realised last time I forgot to say anything about Draco. I love how he’s handling the situation. He knows Daphne is dangerous, he knows he can’t lie to her and he can’t defend himself at all. And yet he’s not acting helpless or scared (regardless of how he feels). He’s not acting like a victim. He still has his pride, and he’s even found a way to indirectly help Harry. It’s admirable.
I’m glad Harry’s using his head now, instead of just relying on his strength (and luck). Draco’s right that Hermione has always been the brain in their adventures, but Harry can be almost as good (when he calms down and thinks, of course :P). It’s interesting that Harry would rather fuss over someone, than be the one receiving the attention. Clearly, he and Draco are meant to be ::lol:: Harry’s such a romantic! It’s too cute.
“Saxum!” he shouted, the spell that Neville had once told Harry he used on anything in his garden which grew wilder and more ferocious than he liked it
I loved that Neville reference. I like Neville.
How much did he use when he defeated the Dark Lord?
It’s funny, as much as I like powerful!Harry, he’s not that strong. He was magically stronger than average, and had a very strong will, but in reality it comes down to sheer luck that he survived all those years, IMO.
“Well, then I can still analyze it,” Hermione said, and tucked the vial away.
