I suspected Cordelia's shawl was a weapon of some sort as soon as you described it in detail. Had no idea that it would contain acromantulas, though. Genius. I wondered if Harry and Hermione were being overconfident, and it seems that they were.

I think it's been a while since I've commented. RL has been really busy, but I've been trying to keep up with this and Changing of the Guard as best as I can. I really enjoy both stories. And Harry's Project, too--that was a lovely little story.

Anyway, back to this chapter. I liked that Harry recognized why his magic, rage, and lust are coming through now, because the potion is focused on him protecting Draco, not restraining his emotions. I particularly like him pondering whether he can learn to live normally again, learn to deal with his rage, rather than continue to try to suppress it. Besides the fact that suppressing emotions is never healthy, it shows that Harry is really serious about Draco and what Draco said about wanting him in entirety.

I have to wonder now if Daphne is working with Cordelia. Their attacks seemed too perfectly timed. Draco told Daphne who he owed money when he enlisted her help, so she would know that Cordelia was now Draco's enemy. Either that, or Daphne was watching Harry's place so she could attack when Draco was alone.

*is spiteful for a moment* Harry needs to come eat Daphne's magic. That would be sufficient punishment for what she has done to Draco.

Looking forward to the next chapter, as always.
