That's not a problem. I'm glad you kept reading the story!
And thank you! The Department of Mysteries always seemed the part of the Ministry most likely to head a conspiracy to me, if anyone was going to. There's so much even a Ministry worker like Arthur Weasley doesn't know about it, and they could be studying anything in there.
I think my endings are generally stronger than my beginnings. Either that, or they poop out completely. :) I'm glad that this one fell into the former category for you.
I haven't watched 300, or even as many movies as most people. I think it helps that I have a very visual imagination, and the scenes/images I do see usually stick very well in my mind. So it's easy to imagine how something would look from above, up close, etc. My major problem was trying not to repeat myself with the imagery I did choose.
One thing I wanted to do with this story was show how a stressful situation can bring out the best of a person, but it's also likely to bring out the weaknesses. There's no way Harry and Draco could have come out of there without some scars. Reconciling them to those scars was the major purpose of the last few chapters.
Thank you again for commenting, and I hope you'll continue reading for a very long time.
