Hello, I've been an avid fan of your story since the beginning, and I apologise for not leaving a comment up until now.
There are just so many things I love about your story, like the plot which managed to work in a perfectly conceivable conspiracy right underneath the Ministry's nose to how you took your time developing Harry and Draco's relationship. The final chapter was wonderful, just holding enough promise in it to let us know that the boys will survive without any false hope to a fairytale ending. But the best thing of all about your ending has to be how it did your epic of a story justice -- it left me fulfilled and complete, without wanting a sequel. The way you ended your story had just the right tempo, not to rushed and trying to account for too many things, or dragging it out to cover too much ground. I've always found that few people are able to end off their stories so well, so bravo to you. =)
Along the way, the one thing that got me hooked onto your story was the imagery. I'm not sure if you've watched 300 the movie, but for me, regardless of the mixed reviews about it, it was a movie that held me in awe because it had all the vividness and artistry that the original graphic novel had. Your style of writing when it came to describing the inside of the maze is precisely the stuff that top-notch graphic novels are made of. Your focus on details brought your story to life, or at least for me, into frames which I could imagine being drawn by John Bolton or Dave McKean. At the same time, you balanced the graphic and gore in your story with an immense amount of human emotions and character, and I think that is what makes you such a brilliant writer.
Another thing which I truly, truly enjoyed while reading this story was how you characterised Harry and Draco. They were so very human, flawed and tired and selfish, even weak at times, but with underlying strength and compassion that made me so in love with them. Writers in the fantasy genre tend to create characters which are "superhuman", but you made Harry and Draco so believably heroic and powerful but at the same time, so incredibly human, and I absolutely loved how you did it.
Bottom line, thank you so much for writing and sharing this story. It has been a truly wonderful ride and a fantastic read. I'm currently reading your other two stories and enjoying them very much indeed.
