beautiful. i love the fact that it's not a super happy ending. adequate, the word you use, is perfect. i loved this story since the beginning, and you're right- a sequel wouldn't do it justice.
but anyways, the ending was a perfect fit to a not so perfect story. if that made sense. lol :D
