Hee! Second chapter is up now. I'm glad you're here. (And I know exactly what you mean. If a story I'm reading is a WiP, I often skim towards the end to see if the character interaction I like best has started yet).
*wry* Unfortunately, I've been thinking about it because I don't think I do this well- or the portrayal of the HP women in general. I made Narcissa mad in one of my stories, Ginny a bitch (in the same story, but also elsewhere), Pansy a schemer who tries to hang onto Draco for the money and prestige, Hermione unable to understand reasons Harry might have changed, etc. There's always the temptation to just leave women out, but I don't want to, so I'm trying to come up with plots that show both sexes well.
