Finally! ::cheers:: With Harry’s level of denial I thought this time would never come ::lol:: The kiss was hot and sweet, at the same time. I loved Draco’s smugness at the end :D
I loved how Harry tried to explain his problem to Draco. How obviously bad he is at this kind of things was endearing. It’s true that maybe this isn’t the best time for them to start anything, but that doesn’t change the fact that, basically, they’re excuses. I’m amazed at Harry’s ability to fool himself: fixation? Go back to liking women if he doesn’t sleep with men? ::sigh:: I know how frustrated Draco must have felt while Harry was talking. I’m sure there are a lot of things he wants to tell Harry about being gay (and that he never thought the he’d ever need the vocabulary necessary for that kind of talk in the communication sphere). And really, of all the people, he’s the best to make Harry understand how stupid he’s being. It’ll take time, though; we all know how stubborn Harry could be when he latches to an idea.
Well, you failed in that, didn’t you? As you fail at most things you try to do on your own. Huh, he hasn’t brought up in a while, I thought he had gotten over it.
This was manipulative! Draco had to know that Harry wouldn’t feel able to reject him now! And Harry just learned that some things don’t change, lucky for him XD
It wasn’t fair that being gay felt so good. That was a trick, he thought, something to lure him in. Ahh, the things Harry comes up in the name of denial… It’s good Draco can’t read his thoughts, or he would have hit Harry with the sphere.
And he still wanted children, and a partner who, if she wasn’t Ginny, was like the wife he had sometimes dreamed of having whilst he was fighting Voldemort This was interesting. Is he clinging to what’s left of his past? Afraid of letting go and move on?
This was a cute chapter, a good brake from all the goriness. Although I can’t wait to get back to the creepy stuff!
