Wonderful chapter. Your description of Draco's most hated thing is spot on. And Cordelia, uh-oh, I smell trouble a brewing, pun intended (is that a pun? I'm not sure) and about Hermione, I am kind of torn.
The hopeless, twisted romantic inside of me kind of thinks that Hermione should grieve as long as she wants (maybe forever) if she loves Ron so much but then again, it's just not healthy, is it. Hermione should flourish with the memory of Ron's love in her mind, not wither because of it. But still. And I think this is incredibly adorable: And she whispered, “Harry, it’s gone. The mountain’s gone. I want to—“ She shook her head, curls bouncing around her, eyes wide with wonder. “I want to read.”
The thought of the last chapter fills me with anticipation and longing! Finally, we learn what Harry loathes more about himself. ♥
