Even though I suspected we’d see something related to Draco’s sexuality in a Pensieve, it totally took me by surprise. Now Harry has another problem to add to his Issue, his growing attraction to Draco will be different now that he knows there’s a possibility of something happening between them. I know he doesn’t think so (made a list with the reasons and everything), but I think the ‘What if…’ will always be in a (tiny) corner of his mind. And he will be more paranoid, fearing anything will clue Draco in on what’s going on ::lol::
He shook his head and very carefully didn’t glance at the Draco beside him, who must be embarrassed at such a personal revelation. If anything, Draco would be more embarrassed about his admission about Harry. He didn’t seem to mind talking about Jason. Or could be the alcohol :P I wonder if that conversation will come up… I guess it’ll have to come from Draco, Harry will try to pretend that memory wasn’t there.
Pearl’s reasons for participating were another surprise. I never thought much about her (my hate goes to Richard, mainly), but it was nice to hear about her motives. It adds another dimension to her character, and plays in the ‘not everything is black or white’ theme.
How many times was that done? How many times was he made to suffer that torment, to go through his own pain, and know each time that it would only happen again, and again, and again? That they would never let him die? THAT made this memory the most painful so far, the idea of endless suffering. It was very hard to keep reading, good job!!
“Yes, of course you’re doing that because you think I’m about to run away.” Harry shook his head, snorted, and rolled his eyes when Draco went on staring at him. “And I’m telling you that I won’t.” After that little stunt Harry pulled, he’s lucky Draco can’t wield a wand, otherwise he would have found himself on a conjured lead.
Third, you’ll carry through your plan and free Draco from the maze, in which case no attraction will be important to you ever again. Oh, god, please don’t tell me Harry’s planning to do something stupid like substituting Draco! I was looking forward to Harry’s plan, now I’m dreading it. I hope I just took the hints and ran in the totally wrong direction.
