Thanks. This Harry is very focused. He doesn't see the blindness, in the end, as being as bad as Voldemort, and he managed to survive that. So he'll survive this.
The tenses was the first idea I came up with for the story. Harry's moved on, into the present; Draco is stuck in the past, at least until the very end.
Originally, when I thought I'd write the story mostly from Harry's POV, I didn't know those were Draco's motives. I figured them out along with him.
There probably will be a sequel, but I'm having trouble deciding which time period it should cover.
