Wow! Great cliffhanger. For some reason I'm thinking that this is some 'trick' of the maze. After all if Ron's severed head is full of dark magic, then Draco should be practically a beacon of dark magic - what with all that's been done to him. Thank you for explaining the theory behind the maze... and for using small words. They helped me to understand as well as Harry :D. I do enjoy Harry's continuing inner commentary on his 'troublesome' gayness. The absentminded stroking of Draco's hair is a clear indication of something more than simply the desire to protect. Its also interesting to me how Harry continues to (I can't even think of the word) hmmm continues to judge himself based on what he should do as a 'Hero.' "Then he reminded himself he was strong, he was, he had managed to survive and help Draco sur"vive, and he should not be taking comfort and strength from a man who needed them both more than he did. He clearly sees the symbiotic nature of his relationships with Ron and Hermione (although he does think they contribute more than he does)... but its clearly escaped his notice when he thinks of Draco. Probably because he still sees Draco as the one who needs to be rescued by him. Can't wait to see the reaction to the severed head. I'm so upset that my schedule doesn't permit me to check for updates more often. But when I do its a great pleasure to see one of yours.
