Ron, no!! NOT RON! Ok, I won’t panic, for all I know this could be a trap or Ron’s head alive (Dark magic), so it could be… reattached later. Right? I hope so, for Harry’s sake.
When Draco mentioned Ron and Hermione used as experiments, my first thought went to Harry’s reaction. If he’s this pissed about what happened to Malfoy, who he just started to feel fond of, how will he reacted in the face of his best friends’ torture? Or worse, death? We all know how Harry reacts when he’s enraged, he doesn’t think straight (if at all). So if this is really Ron’s head, then the test of how much has Harry matured has come earlier than I thought.
I’m glad the theory behind the maze was finally explained. I had wondered about the reasons for the torture and the use of memories body parts in the maze. Harry’s necessity for small words made it easier to understand ::lol:: I liked Harry’s request for small words, it shows a new level of trust and camaraderie with Draco. He wouldn’t have asked that before, I think, reluctant to appear stupid and be made fun of. He would have asked a lot of questions to understand (because he knows he has to know this) which would have been a waste of time. Of course, there are questions like what happened to Pearl and Draco’s voice left unanswered but it doesn’t matter. For now :P
Healed, with a chance to sleep as long as he likes and get some proper food in him, he’ll be rather good-looking. Well, look at that! We passed from non-slash to the land of pre-slash. XD It’s interesting that Harry noted this, Draco looking like he does. He must have been really paying attention to Draco. Whatever his reaction to this revelations is, I’m sure Draco will notice it, Harry’s not very subtle.
“Really.” Harry thought his sarcasm skills must have improved from being around Draco, because he had never managed to put that much polite doubt into a single word before And Draco doesn’t even talk ::lol::
Draco gave him the pointed look that said he was doing this under protest, and fully reserved the right to tell Harry it was a bad idea later, then followed him towards the object. This is not only funny, it shows how well Harry can read Draco. I love silent communication, I hope Ron and Hermione survive to see it. Their reactions (Ron in particular) would be hilarious.
I can’t wait for next chapter! Of all evil cliff-hangers in the history of evil cliff-hangers, this is one of the worst.
