I thought about doing the time travel story next, but I'd have to do an awful lot of research first, and unfortunately all my HP books are packed away.

Harry's comforting of the Weasleys and Hermione in this case is his way of soothing his grief. If he can keep busy enough, he thinks about it less.
Harry isn't making movies, just the film itself, and mostly for cameras.
The Incident is pretty bad, enough that I hope Ron's behavior doesn't seem inconsistent when it's revealed.
Hermione is tough and determined, but depression isn't something she can beat on her own. She'll contribute as much as she can to the cure, though.
