Wonderful one-shot, I love it. I don't think it was weird, although it's different from the other stories you wrote. It has a... spiritual feeling, I can't find other words to describe it :P Harry and Draco, flawed, understanding them, overcoming them, gaining clarity. The tests were perfect for them.

You did an amazing job with the centaurs, showing their silent knowledge, their essence. Explaining why they act like that regarding prophecies and the prize they pay for them. Their home gave away the same kind of otherworldly feeling as the places where Tolkien's elves dwell, for me :) Great job in how they talked, there were some parts I felt as confused as Harry was ::lol::

Cool and refine Draco is one of my favourite kinds of Draco XD Draco as an Astronomer is totally new, and you made it work. It's an intellectual job that requires concentration and calm, so it makes sense for Draco to like it, if it prevents his mind wandering into his more usual doubts and half-judgments. It was so like Draco to use the stars to learn about Harry's personality, to know in advance what he'll be dealing with ::lol::

Danger!loving!Harry is always cool to read about. But this one had an attitude that rang true to me. As a matter of fact, this is one of the drawbacks I see from the death experience Harry had in DH. Not that Harry would kill himself slicing his writs or anything, but more like he's no longer afraid of death. He knows it's not the end, he'll see his loved ones and will see the ones he lets behind. In consequence, with his need for excitement and new challenges, death is not an issue. It's more like the ultimate challenge... It was interesting how Harry never thought he was seeking death but subconsciously knew it, thus not getting attached to anyone to spare them pain.

I loved how they were attracted to each other much more than they thought at first, and how that knowledge comes to them out of nowhere, at random and totally inappropriate times ::lol:: And how they wanted the other's attention focused sorely on them.

Beauchamp had used the most effective of his many argumentative techniques on Harry yesterday: he had shut his mouth and glared at him A technique Draco would instinctively know XD

Malfoy turned enough to let Harry see the widening of his eyes. “Very good,” he said.

Harry quashed the impulse to preen
I loved that part, it was cute.

If asked, he would have said, “Er. Gallop about? Look at the stars? Brood on the wrongs wizards have done them? Shoot intruders?”

He wasn’t the world’s most eloquent speaker.
::lol:: But that's the Harry we all know and love!

The point is, the story was beautiful and I loved it :)
