just out of curiousity, as someone who is currently working on a degree in English literature and plans on going further in the field, what is your career? I mean to say, what did you do with the two degrees you acquired in English literature (and what specifically was your focus)? and the implied question, how did you do it, and what advice do you offer the greedy little information whore that is knocking on your door. and if this is too invasive a question (sorry, I've got no censor at all when it comes to knowledge, which I feel actually benefits my analysis sometimes, but, I digress) feel free to not reply or tell me to go away because I'm being nosy (which I am). but I also cherish knowledge and want to pick at yours, if that makes any sense.
oh, and I know exactly what you mean about words just coming out and you're trying to type as fast as the characters speak dialogue in your head...I'm currently in a playwriting course and it's very frustrating sometimes when I'm forced to scribe instead of type, because damnit, my hands just aren't fast enough, and once the thought occurs to me and the words are formed, they better be put down immediately or that exact permutation is lost forever.
