First – another great chapter! (But of course I expect nothing less). Second – can I just say Yay Ron!!! I’m so glad that he is supportive of Harry. So many fics make Ron the hotheaded one who refuses to accept Draco and Hermione the one who is open-minded about it. It’s refreshing to see Ron being the level headed supportive friend. I’m glad that he’s made the distinction that not only is Ginny not good for Harry – but Draco is good for him. I hope he continues to be supportive once the truth about George comes to light. I’m more than a little disappointed at Hermione. You would think that she would at least be able to acknowledge Draco’s support and usefulness, if nothing else, to Harry even if she doesn’t like him personally. I agree with Draco’s assessment in that she still brought Ginny’s letter to Harry and she very well could have intervened before things got out of hand at the Tonk’s house when Ginny cornered Harry. I know these things take time and she’s only just had her perception of Ginny and of their marriage shattered, but it seems like she’s more interested in being right than in being a good friend. I’m very curious about her relationship with Ron now. I’d love to have heard the conversation where Ron told her that Harry was better without Ginny.
