Yay for Draco being the mature one and showing up Ron & Hermione! :D Loved the little detail about Hermione's Shield being flawed.
Also, I kind of liked their reactions, Ron's and Hermione's I mean. I think they characterise them very well - Ron can't see how his own actions might have been wrong and that Harry's forgiveness isn't exclusively his, and Hermione has taken the high ground again. I enjoyed watching them being shaken. *evil grin*
But mostly I liked it, I think, because they were such a direct contrast not only to Draco, who's definitely more mature than even Hermione, who's almost a year older than he is. But also to Severus in the first part of the chapter. Severus realised his whinings made him sound like a child, and a Gryffindor child to boot. That's exactly what Ron & Hermione are like - children, and Gryffindors, and heaven forfend that a nasty, slimy Slytherin might turn out an okay person!
But Dumbledore continuing to ambush Harry in the corridors makes me start worrying.
