I am sad about the distance too. Ron is being a bit pig headed concerning Snape. I can understand Hermione's feelings about Draco though. While Draco has been mostly civil towards Ron and Hermione since he became friends with Harry, he has not renounced his beliefs, or apologized about the way he treated them(calling them mudblood and blood traitor). It would be like a black girl friends with a white boy who has fallen in love with a former KKK member. It would be very very hard for the black girl to be accepting of the KKK member without some form of reconciliation of the two. At least this is in my mind. Anyways this is really interesting, keep up the good work!
