Shit, you sure know how to end a chapter! I loved how it was done; it reminded me a lot of the endings in the first 3 books. It has a 'this part is over, but the story is just beginning' feeling.
Dearborn... somehow, I'm more in denial over his death than Snape's. One part of me is still thinking he's working for Nihil. The other part thinks about what he said to Nihil (how he's been waiting to do that for a long time), and what Portillo Lopez said about it looking as if he's been long dead, and how he really seemed to hate Nihil... I believe Portillo Lopez’s tattoo means something, even if it’s not related to Nihil at all.
I feel sorry for Draco. First Dearborn, now Lucius. There's no way that's not causing trouble in the near future. Did he escape on his own? If Nihil was involved, Lucius might have been safer in Azkaban. I wonder if Draco will tell Harry (I think not, but he's changed so I can't be sure). I’m also very curious about Draco’s interactions with his father because as I said, he changed, and maybe not in the good way according to his father.
Harry + book = me waiting for him to do something stupid. But there’s time if does feel tempted. After all, Harry would need some time to convince himself he’s not acting imprudently.
Thanks for writing this, I hope you have a merry Christmas :)
