Draco is going through a process he's never gone through before: considering someone who's outside his family as more important than himself.
Harry doesn't really know who he is anymore, I think. And when he becomes very good at lying, he starts to consider himself as an actor first and a person second. The person other people interact with is not the one who comes up with the lies.
