It's funny that you should say that you don't want your different pieces to be similar because you're one of the most original writers in the fandom. I mean, 'Hephaestus' vs 'To Touch a Unicorn' vs 'The Secret Underground Vampire Bureaucracy' vs 'Minister Scrimgeour Does Not Approve.'
I don't think they could be more different if you tried! The only common thread is that they are all fantastic. So I really don't feel you have anything to worry about on that front. =)
