Poor Draco, and poor Harry. I don't know who to feel sorrier for, though I think I can empathize more with Harry's plight. Draco really should just try to speak bluntly, and not be discouraged by the fact that he failed once. After all, he managed to get Harry to listen to him about going off on his own.
Are you talking about Harry telling himself that he's stupid to be jealous? That actually is something he'll keep up, because he doesn't want to hurt Draco.
