Thanks for your honest reaction. I think Harry would react much more strongly and negatively if a) he doesn't feel that he needs Draco (and, as a friend, Kingsley), b) he had liked or felt much sympathy with Keatson at all, and c) if he had definite proof that Draco had killed Keatson deliberately, rather than just letting the magic that protected him waver and him perhaps take control of it. In other words, Harry reaches the conclusion he does because Harry, too, is disturbed.
