Summary: When Harry Potter is Sorted into Slytherin and yet maintains his friendship with Ron Weasley, Draco and the other first-year Slytherins become aware that Potter must have a plan under that mop of hair. One so deep and subtle that the adults can’t fathom it. But they can, and they shall follow Potter into victory, because someday he’ll reveal that plan to them.
Author’s Notes: This is one of my “From Litha to Lammas” fics, being posted between the summer solstice and the first of August. I wrote this mainly because I was tired of Slytherin!Harry fics that bash Ron, even when Ron hasn’t done anything to Harry, and also fics that assume Harry would start believing in blood purity and joining Voldemort just because he’s in Slytherin.
