Summary: Harry is being courted by both Lucius and Severus. Their courtships are dazzling, stunning, splendid. But in the end, he can choose only one.
Author’s Notes: This is another of my Advent fics, written for robinellen, who gave me the prompt: Lucius and Severus competing for Harry in some way. Your call on who gets him. The title comes from Thomas Lovell Beddoes’s poem “Dream-Pedlary”: “If there were dreams to sell,/ What would you buy?/ Some cost a passing bell;/ Some a light sigh…” The second part will be posted tomorrow.
