Yeah. I wondered if Dumbledore kept some things from Harry just because he knew Harry was going to die and that gave a very painful edge to his decisions/love.
Narcissa can handle Lucius. And that's really all I can say on that matter.
I'm not sure how many character deaths there finally will be, but I think torture (of various kinds) is more central to this story than death.
