Glad you liked that image. I wrestled with it for a while before I could fit it into the story in appropriate words (the title came first, in this case, and then I had to figure out how it applied to the fic).

Harry had a ton of faults, didn't he? That was what attracted me to writing this story, because of the ways that he could change and because I had a good grasp on what he was changing from. The best I can say about the way he hurt Draco is that he really didn't mean to. He had no idea that Draco had cared that strongly about a momentary look in Harry's eyes.

Ginny can face reality, I think. She was pretty brave in fifth and sixth year, though she was prevented from fighting in the battles of the war (although she did try to steal the Sword of Gryffindor from Snape's office).

I think that's the first time I've seen someone write positive about James II in months. :)

The ending was difficult for me, because I wanted to show the process of Draco's changing his mind, but I didn't want it to drag on too long, and I couldn't just tell things because it wasn't from his perspective. I think the multiple meetings with Harry probably helped to illustrate it even better than the letters did.
