Comes up perfectly to my expectations, as usual, and even pushing beyond it. At first I was quite apprehensive about the entire Harry/Ginny idea (when I saw the warnings, I almost backed out), but then I thought: wait, it's lomonaaeren, surely...
So I went ahead and read, and I wasn't disappointed. I liked the pacing of the scenes throughout the fic -- makes the tension very real. Harry's characterization is perfect, and so is Draco. As I've said, I don't really read much of Ginny, but I'm glad to find a fic that makes her real and yet still very acceptable.
The children! I love the children. I can just imagine James and Al being separated -- it makes a lot of sense. Both Harry and Ginny have Slytherin tendencies to them, and it makes a good balance for the qualities to be separated between the two children. It also makes sense that the older one has the Gryffindor tendencies -- the second child is bound to be ignored more than the first child is, and this would certainly develop the Slytherin side, and give him a deep-seated independence.
The presentation is very canon-compliant indeed -- in fact, this could very well be canon, for all we know. Nineteen years is a long time.
Thank you for sharing with us this fic; it's a very satisfying read. Kudos to you~!
