You know, there are very few fics in all the vastness of fandom that deal with Kingsley satisfactorily. And so when I see even hints of it - like here, or as in Mad Martha's Two Househol's verse - a part of me wants desperately for a nice long Kingfic for me to drool over. Your Shacklebolt is so much the leader we hope for him to be, at the end of DH, after the hints we see in OotP... anyway, I like him. I dunno if he evokes Dumbledore in his oldness and his knowing (though so different in manner and MO, thank goodness!) for anyone else, but he did for me. I am all of the nostalgia.
And your Snape is lovely. So lovely. A bit of the sour grapes re: Obsession and Draco and Harry's solution to it. But that meeting with the impostor? Gold.
Draco, Harry and Lucius are always compelling, obviously.
