He knew, because he had watched Harry bring one to life, that none of these patterns were conscious. Somehow, he learned as he made them what shape they should be.

A great metaphor for life and relationships! This is exactly what Harry and Draco are doing. The ideal is great, but the real world falls short of that. (Duh.)

Harry in the last chapter feeling sorry for Scorpius' future professors amused me. He should be wondering how he and Draco will manage the boy!

This was a really good story. I'm glad to see Draco recognizing Harry's foibles as well as his own. And to see, also, the two of them slowly working through their issues. Scorpius will keep them grounded. . . and busy.
