Thanks for clarifying about the burning paper and that word: "flung"; that really cleared things up.
I will always contest that it is better to know than to not know, if the question is plaguing, but that is almost more depressing that Harry doesn't even realize. Of course, if this world's Harry would never love Draco [probably loves Ginny], it wouldn't be fair to make Harry feel guilty about it. But of course as a romantic, it would have been slightly touching [maybe over-the-top dramatic] if Harry knew, and was trying to wake Draco up.
