*wails* this chapter was so heartbreaking, but so, so wonderful!
i feel so badly for scorpius, but he's so brave and intelligent and i just want to bundle him up and cuddle him! my heart burst right along with harry's when he realized scorpius would heal mentally and be able to deal with his injuries. the mirror part was particularly brilliant, and i just love harry's resolve to see scorpius and draco through this.
draco's reactions and behaviors to harry and now scorpius' injuries continue to rivet me because, however misguided they are, they're very genuine. i can feel his conflictedness and his helplessness in not being able to touch scorpius' hand or look at his face. draco's dismay at harry's suggestion he'd abandon scorpius, even in the face of his own reactions is just so real. words fail, but i just love the way that draco's ideals about love remain undisturbed by his contradictory behavior, and how the contrary things they say about him as a person never appear to have come into conflict before now.
omg, the glamour! gjdksljf! when harry slipped out of the glamour and then held draco's hand to his face i almost died, it was just so heartbreaking. and his speech at the end! *cries*
i really, really loved this chapter!! i can't wait for more!!!
