Yes. I thought about scarring Draco, but I think his reaction would be different then, since of course he would seek treatment without hesitation and he would think Harry should do the same thing. It's different when it's Scorpius and someone who partially got in trouble because of Draco's using magic on him to make him smarter and more curious.
