Wow, this was just amazing. Poor Harry. I'm glad you don't have him being bitter, that he has come to terms with his situation and isn't ashamed.
Now Draco... it's I think in character for him, but I still want to smack him. Especially this speech - “Harry, do you know how hard it’s been for me in the past weeks, since you were captured? First I had to fear that you were dead. Then I heard you were rescued, and I wasn’t even able to help with that. Then I heard you were wounded, but no one would tell me how bad it was. And the end of all that uncertainty was learning that you look—like this—and you refuse to honor even my request to repair it.” - Draco keeps going on about how hard it was for him, but he never stops and thinks how hard it was for Harry, what Harry had had to go through. That Harry probably needed Draco so much right then, to accept him and love him despite his disfigurement, and yet Draco can't get over how hard it is for himself.
I can't wait to see what happens next. I'm very interested to see where this goes. :D
