I shudder to think about all the experiences Draco had to endure in order to get to this point. His character underwent some drastic changes before we even see him here. I appreciated Harry's astute observation that parts of their souls have died. I'm glad they both come through this not only physically intact, but with some further emotional healing. Poor Harry will need all the healing he can get when he finally encounters his former friends again. If they see (or not see) Harry as a non-entity, then I wonder how they will react to Draco and then Draco/Harry together? The possibilities for the sequel are intriguing!
