Oh now, this is turning into a rather dark story. The whole Lucius/Narcissa thing, how poignant that he would find and read her diary and realize too late things could have been different. Now what's going on with Draco? He seems too, ah, docile, and like you wrote, he's like a serpent that will sting after fooling its prey. Oh my.
